This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +9 more states.
β’ Collaborate with local sales representatives to formulate a local territory strategy and prioritize target TPAs.
β’ Establish and nurture relationships with sales representatives, TPA principals, owners, and key personnel.
β’ Educate sales representatives on positioning Ascensus as a TPA-friendly recordkeeper.
β’ Showcase Ascensus's value proposition, service model, and technology platform to TPAs.
β’ Set joint marketing and sales objectives with strategic TPA partners.
β’ Create and monitor co-branded marketing initiatives, campaigns, and referral programs.
β’ Evaluate performance against joint objectives and adapt plans as necessary.
β’ Act as an escalation point and advocate for TPA relationships.
β’ Collaborate with internal service, operations, and relationship management teams to meet TPA requirements.
β’ Provide continuous education on platform updates, service improvements, and available resources.
β’ Represent Ascensus at national and regional industry events.
β’ Assist in national programs aimed at enhancing TPA engagement.
β’ Travel with assigned sales representatives 25β50% of the time for face-to-face meetings and presentations.
β’ Keep precise CRM records of TPA relationships, activities, and sales pipeline.
β’ Report on territory advancements, partner engagement, and joint goal achievements to sales leadership.
β’ Complete reporting that tracks territory strategy and success metrics.
β’ Share market intelligence and competitive insights with internal teams.
β’ Preferred: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
β’ Minimum of 5 years' experience in the retirement plan industry, ideally with exposure to TPAs, recordkeeping, or plan administration.
β’ Strong comprehension of the functions that TPAs, recordkeepers, and advisors serve in employer-sponsored retirement plans.
β’ Demonstrated success in relationship management or business development.
β’ Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
β’ Self-driven and capable of working independently in a field-based setting.
β’ Willingness and capability to travel 25β50%, including overnight and multi-day trips for conferences.
β’ Required: FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 licenses.
β’ ASPPA or NIPA professional designations are advantageous.
