This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Oversee account management and business development efforts for major OEMs.
• Report directly to the Global Sales Director.
• Enhance profitability and maximize margins through the sale of value-added, long-term solutions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for selected, complex, high-profile customer accounts.
• Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities within Global Supply Chain Solutions.
• Create and manage opportunity funnels involving customers and suppliers.
• Evaluate and confirm client requirements, design and production partners, and decision-making structures.
• Lead strategic account planning that includes mutual goals, financial targets, and milestones.
• Direct cross-functional sales support, operations, and management resources.
• Present value-based proposals to C-level executives and senior management decision-makers.
• Utilize distribution, representative, and supplier relationships to boost sales and profit margins.
• Cultivate relationships with supplier account managers and key personnel in operations, finance, and supply chain.
• Plan, manage, and supervise RFQs and proposal submissions.
• Engage in substantial contract review and negotiation.
• Analyze Arrow and competitor market share within designated accounts.
• Implement account strategies to achieve or surpass annual and quarterly goals.
• Convey client needs, objectives, and industry supply chain trends to Arrow leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 10-12 years of successful B2B solution selling experience to large European OEM strategic accounts.
• Demonstrated ability to build professional networks with energy and expertise.
• Experience in semiconductors, logistics, software, supply chain services, or similar industries focusing on developing complex and compelling solutions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of electronic components distribution and global supply chain sectors.
• Strong existing relationships throughout the industry.
• Capacity to build and leverage relationships while identifying key decision-makers.
• Expert consultative sales skills with the ability to transform leads into opportunities.
• Capability to collaborate with a team to create tailored solutions.
• Extensive knowledge of multinational cloud, computer, and consumer accounts and their decision-making processes.
• Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation abilities.
• Proven experience in developing and delivering engaging, complex proposals.
• Ability to function cross-functionally in a dynamic team environment.
• Exceptional relationship and team-building skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
