This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and execute comprehensive business development strategies that align with DSV’s objectives.
• Analyze the market to identify target industries, markets, and potential clients.
• Conduct prospecting, research, and client identification through networking, cold calling, and market analysis.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
• Collaborate with clients to ascertain their logistics requirements and customize solutions accordingly.
• Act as the primary contact for client inquiries and proposals.
• Perform market assessments and feasibility studies for prospective clients.
• Evaluate market trends and competitor actions to uncover growth opportunities.
• Develop persuasive proposals, presentations, and contracts that are both profitable and sustainable.
• Establish revenue targets and sales objectives for business development efforts.
• Monitor performance metrics, track progress, and implement corrective measures as necessary.
• Formulate and execute strategies aimed at surpassing revenue and growth targets.
• Collaborate closely with operations, marketing, and other internal teams to guarantee seamless service delivery.
• Align solutions with both client needs and company objectives for optimal impact.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in account management or business development in the logistics or supply chain industry is preferred.
• Strong financial acumen with the capability to manage budgets and drive profitability.
• Demonstrated experience in account management and leadership positions.
• Solid understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and industry best practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Strategic mindset with the capability to develop and execute intricate account plans.
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in English is required.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
