This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the retail sector.
• Generate and qualify leads via cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry events.
• Establish and maintain a robust pipeline of potential customers and business prospects.
• Develop and nurture long-term relationships with customers and strategic partners.
• Meet quarterly and annual sales and revenue targets through proactive business development initiatives.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to enhance growth initiatives and outreach campaigns.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to uncover new opportunities and support business strategies.
• Present and demonstrate products to prospective customers.
• Track and document customer interactions, sales activities, and opportunities within HubSpot.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a seamless transition of new customers for continued account management.
• Participate in trade shows, conferences, and networking events to showcase McCue products and services.
• Maintain precise business development records, reports, and performance metrics.
• Assist with additional business development and sales initiatives as assigned.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; a degree in Professional Selling, Marketing, or Business is advantageous.
• Experience in telephone sales is preferred.
• Strong skills in prospecting and lead generation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain client relationships.
• Proficiency in HubSpot and ZoomInfo is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with a proactive problem-solving approach.
• Practical sales experience is necessary, preferably in food/meat processing, industrial processing, personal protection equipment, or plant operating supplies.
• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of employees, managers, and external parties.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel is required.
• Some travel is necessary, including overnight stays.
• Preference for candidates in the Central or East Coast time zone.
