This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +1 more state.
• Create and implement business development and market advancement strategies.
• Identify, qualify, and seek new business prospects within designated markets and accounts.
• Establish and nurture relationships with surgeons, hospital executives, health systems, distributors, and other key stakeholders.
• Evaluate customer needs and propose solutions that enhance product and service value.
• Perform market, customer, and competition analysis.
• Formulate account and opportunity strategies, including stakeholder mapping, value propositions, and action plans.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, clinical, medical education, finance, contracting, and other cross-functional teams.
• Relay customer insights, competitive intelligence, and product feedback to internal teams.
• Assist with product launches, customer training, demonstrations, workshops, and strategic initiatives.
• Monitor opportunity pipelines, activities, and outcomes; provide updates and recommendations to leadership.
• Encourage adherence to company policies, quality systems, regulations, and ethical business practices.
• Travel as necessary to support customers, field teams, meetings, and business priorities.
• High school diploma or equivalent with 12+ years of applicable sales, clinical, or related experience; or an Associate’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience; or a Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of pertinent experience.
• Relevant experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, life sciences, business development, or complex solution selling.
• Proven track record in relationship development, opportunity identification, and decision influence within complex customer environments.
• Strong business acumen along with strategic thinking, negotiation, presentation, and communication abilities.
• Capacity to work independently while effectively collaborating in a matrixed organization.
• Willingness and capability to travel as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and an active vehicle insurance policy.
• For degrees obtained outside the United States, a degree meeting the criteria of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
