This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct research to discover new leads and prospects to achieve business development objectives.
• Manage incoming leads from web forms, tradeshows, email, and various marketing channels.
• Utilize LinkedIn, Global Data, SFDC, and other resources to investigate leads.
• Reach out to assigned leads through email, phone, LinkedIn, and other communication methods, employing a strategic call approach.
• Assess leads and document progress within SFDC/CRM systems.
• Employ MAP to monitor email interactions, including opens, forwards, and click-through rates.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to create messaging and ensure on-brand communications.
• Work together with Business Development to confirm that qualified leads are prepared for opportunities.
• Implement proactive targeting campaigns to obtain outbound leads and region-specific targets within the US.
• Follow up initial outreach with NDAs and other legal documentation.
• Gather competitive intelligence and metrics related to losses and disqualifications.
• Support tradeshow events and other marketing initiatives.
• Ensure accurate customer information is maintained in Salesforce.com.
• Produce activity reports, metrics, sales objectives, and forecasts upon request.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Life Sciences) is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an Inside Sales role or in customer-facing positions, ideally in a technical context.
• Familiarity with cGMP and the drug development process through education or professional experience is required.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities are necessary.
• Ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities.
• Results-driven, motivated, and a self-starter.
• Comfortable, willing, and capable of making cold calls.
• Proficient in composing clear emails and messages to effectively engage with customers.
• Ability to consistently follow up with prospects and leads to reach decision-makers while navigating gatekeepers.
• Proven skills in planning and organization to effectively manage competing priorities.
• Strong computer proficiency, including MS Office, CRM (SFDC/Salesforce.com), and other lead-generation systems.
• A collaborative team player with the ability to work across various functional teams.
• Skillful in utilizing internet and social media platforms for lead research.
• Technologically adept with the capacity to learn and utilize CRM systems effectively.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% is expected.
