Business Central Solution Architect, Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Develop financial processes within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including the chart of accounts, dimensions, posting groups, and approval workflows.

• Convert financial requirements into design documents and configuration specifications.

• Provide leadership and guidance to functional consultants during the implementation, configuration, customization, and integration of the BC solution.

• Organize data migration and ensure the reconciliation of opening balances along with open accounts payable/accounts receivable at the time of go-live.

• Manage project teams, schedules, deployments, and technical obstacles.

• Supervise integrations with other enterprise applications to maintain data integrity.

• Collaborate with business leaders, IT departments, and external vendors.

• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and presentations for CFOs, controllers, and finance teams.

• Assist in presales activities and develop best practices for BC finance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or NAV, particularly in finance.

• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, accounts payable/accounts receivable processes, and month-end closing procedures.

• Proven experience in leading full-cycle projects and managing consultant teams.

• Excellent communication abilities and presales experience.

• A degree in accounting, CPA qualification, or MB-800 certification is advantageous.
