This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Cultivate profitable relationships with business accounts and enhance profitability from both existing and new clients.
• Recognize business opportunities through a comprehensive understanding of clients, markets, products, and services.
• Deliver sales presentations to current and potential clients.
• Educate clients on the advantages of utilizing the organization’s products and services to fulfill their requirements.
• Establish and uphold an efficient referral network and call program to boost sales.
• Identify new logo opportunities and oversee deals from strategy development to closure.
• Develop and utilize Centers of Influence to create new business opportunities.
• Oversee pipeline activity with a robust follow-up and execution discipline.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance and retain existing portfolio customers.
• Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM tools to track leads, activities, and sales performance.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Seven to nine years or more of pertinent work experience.
• Willingness to travel locally, regionally, and occasionally nationally.
• Previous experience in business card sales/payments.
• Strong skills in sales and new business development.
• Capability to identify new logo opportunities and perform consultative discovery.
• Experience collaborating with mid-size to large businesses, including clients with annual revenues of $10MM or more.
• Proficient in credit analysis and financial assessment.
• Familiarity with basic accounting principles related to financial transactions.
• Proven success in developing and leveraging Centers of Influence (COIs).
• Demonstrated ability to manage pipeline activity with thorough follow-up and execution discipline.
• Solid understanding of payment products.
• General knowledge of product marketing and operational processes within the organization.
• Strong skills in customer relationship management, negotiation, decision-making, and creative problem resolution.
• Ability to collaborate with internal teams to enhance and retain portfolio customers.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
• Must adhere to U.S. Bank policies, procedures, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, and workplace conduct and safety policies.
