This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Oversee a designated portfolio of Business Banking Small Business clients to enhance and maintain banking relationships.
• Actively reach out to assigned clients to meet their service and business-related requirements.
• Advocate and cross-promote products and services while delivering suitable financial solutions through consultative assessments.
• Collaborate with partners on joint calls to improve sales techniques and identify consumer opportunities.
• Involve Business Banking Relationship Managers, Branch Managers, and specialty partners in assigned sales initiatives.
• Analyze financial statements, evaluate credit lines, and renew loans.
• Discover business lending opportunities and fulfill related lending duties.
• Ensure client retention and minimize the loss of profitable clients.
• Execute operational and administrative tasks while serving as a bank advocate and advisor.
• Confirm compliance of client portfolios with bank standards.
• Handle unprofitable client relationships and those anticipated to exit.
• Develop strategic partnerships with key business lines to enhance client engagement and retention.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned, adhering to KeyBank policies and procedures.
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience (mandatory).
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar or transferable role, showcasing strong customer service and sales abilities.
• Minimum 1 year of comprehensive financial services experience in business/commercial banking.
• Deep understanding of the regulatory landscape and competitive environment, key industry players, economic factors, and operational challenges.
• Experience in Small Business lending.
• Capacity to build trust through a client-focused approach.
• Proficiency within a specific industry or geographic area and product range.
• Commitment to driving revenue growth and achieving results.
• Knowledge of financial, operational, and strategic elements of client organizations.
• Familiarity with structured sales methodologies, principles, and practices.
• Awareness of Key's risk culture and the ability to navigate risk/reward decisions.
• Skill in maintaining client relationships through consistent communication and financial guidance.
• Ability to comprehend and promote banking products and services.
• Proficient in independently structuring and presenting credit deals with comprehensive analysis and adherence to lending policies.
• Competence in communicating both face-to-face and via phone with colleagues and clients.
• Frequent use of a PC/laptop.
• Occasional travel required, including overnight stays.
