Business Analyst, SAP Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to grasp their needs, processes, and requirements.

• Utilize SAP Finance expertise to evaluate business processes and pinpoint areas for enhancement.

• Collect, document, and verify business and functional requirements.

• Convert business requirements into functional specifications for technical teams.

• Serve as a liaison among business stakeholders, SAP teams, and other technology groups.

• Assist in requirements analysis, solution design, testing, and implementation efforts.

• Engage in workshops, working sessions, and meetings with stakeholders.

• Recognize gaps in business processes and propose solutions.

• Aid in the development and execution of test scenarios and user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Support the identification, analysis, and resolution of issues throughout the project lifecycle.

• Keep project and requirements documentation up-to-date.

• Relay project updates, requirements, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise technology settings.

• Comprehensive functional knowledge and practical experience with SAP Finance (FI).

• Strong understanding of finance-related business processes and their integration within SAP.

• Proven track record in gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating business requirements.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Capability to work efficiently with both business and technical teams.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

• Experience in complex enterprise or consulting environments.

• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with distributed teams.

• In-depth functional knowledge of SAP Finance processes, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Financial Accounting, financial reporting, and integration with other business functions.

• Experience with SAP Finance / SAP FI, business analysis, requirements gathering and documentation, functional analysis, business process analysis, stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, UAT and testing support, problem-solving, written and verbal communication, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Must ensure significant overlap with Canadian working hours and be available until at least 3:00 PM EST regularly.
