This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Conduct functional business analysis, define requirements, and validate for IT projects, especially Salesforce enterprise initiatives.
• Document, test, and effectively communicate comprehensive business requirements.
• Cultivate expertise in Salesforce as well as other systems and processes.
• Suggest and develop enhancements to business processes.
• Assess cross-functional impacts throughout various organizations.
• Document and model both current-state and future-state business processes along with related data.
• Provide system knowledge and workflow-process training to both new and existing users.
• Keep clients updated on the progress of business analysis.
• Engage with clients and IT management to discuss, prioritize, and report on application enhancements.
• Uphold and implement technology and documentation strategies.
• Address incident requests in accordance with established service-level agreements.
• Investigate, document, resolve, code, and close user tickets.
• Analyze patterns and trends in incidents to work towards reducing or eliminating root causes.
• Transfer system knowledge to functional super users and help desk support personnel.
• Advise internal clients and align business priorities that necessitate IT resources.
• Create and sustain system roadmaps.
• Develop project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Implement change management procedures to manage project scope.
• Communicate issues and resolution timelines, escalating to IT management when needed.
• Provide project status updates to stakeholders and IT management.
• Conduct product demonstrations and coordinate capability overviews.
• Lead the definition of business requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Develop and carry out user acceptance testing objectives, plans, and scripts.
• Execute system tests and user acceptance tests.
• Plan and estimate the workload for business analysis.
• Facilitate standard operating procedures for the implementation of system changes.
• Schedule and coordinate development efforts.
• Monitor compliance with business analysis standards and guidelines.
• Ensure project quality, schedule, and cost commitments are met.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in Salesforce business analysis.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and other web technologies.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Project lead or project management experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills across various organizational levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and Visio.
• Experience with Jira, Atlassian, and Confluence is advantageous.
• Strong facilitation and negotiation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel as needed (less than 10%).
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening prior to starting work.
