Business Analyst, Prompt Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovakia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with stakeholders to pinpoint process inefficiencies and propose improvements through process redesign, automation, and AI-driven solutions.

• Conduct interviews, workshops, and analysis sessions to gather and document user stories, use cases, along with functional and non-functional requirements.

• Identify opportunities for enhancing processes using low-code automation and AI-enabled solutions.

• Construct and test AI-driven workflows under supervision while maintaining human oversight.

• Refine prompts, workflows, and automation logic based on user feedback and performance metrics.

• Monitor cost avoidance, time savings, error reduction, and adoption metrics.

• Utilize evidence and feedback to suggest enhancements and subsequent steps.

• Implement responsible AI practices, data privacy, and governance standards.

• Promote awareness of requirements across business units and pinpoint standard system processes through real-time data analysis.

• Define and develop user requirements for production systems to maximize usability.

• Maintain partnerships for optimized systems integration and address managers’ and executives’ inquiries with research and recommendations.

• Generate BRDs, FRDs, use case specifications, process models, workflow diagrams, and prototypes.

• Collaborate with IT Architects, AI Delivery teams, and vendors to devise feasible solutions.

• Assess Convatec systems and recommend enhancements or new solutions.

• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.

• Work alongside project managers, developers, and testers to ensure successful project delivery.

• Act as a thought leader for technical business processes and create systems prototypes to boost efficiency and productivity.

• Conduct, evaluate, and communicate quality assurance throughout the systems development lifecycle.

• Assist with test planning and the development of test cases.

• Engage in UAT and confirm that solutions align with business expectations.

• Background in the Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical Industry.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or in a comparable role.

• Familiarity with Generative AI and the refinement of prompts (e.g., Copilot or similar).

• Understanding of AI-assisted business analysis techniques.

• Knowledge of prompt and agentic design, testing, and optimization.

• Comprehension of AI governance, responsible AI practices, data privacy, and human-in-the-loop controls.

• Familiarity with requirement gathering techniques, process modeling, and documentation tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Visio, prototypes/wireframes, and user journey flows).

• Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders and convey technical information clearly.

• Experience in data analysis, SQL, or business intelligence tools.

• Valued experience with SAP/SAP S/4HANA, QMS, PLM, MES, or CRM systems.

• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) or other relevant professional certifications is desirable.

• Proficiency in English for speaking, writing, and reading.
