This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in enhancing payments and fraud KPIs, performance reporting, and conducting post-launch evaluations of new payment features and experiments.
• Develop and refine SQL queries to identify trends, anomalies, and revenue opportunities.
• Convert complex data into straightforward, actionable recommendations for business leaders.
• Create and sustain dashboards that monitor fraud trends, declined payments, and the overall health of payment processes.
• Offer analytical support aimed at improving fraud detection and decision-making workflows.
• Assess the performance of fraud rules, monitor alerts, and propose data-driven enhancements.
• Perform analyses on fraud trends and suggest strategies for mitigation.
• Examine factors behind payment declines and identify opportunities for decline salvage and optimization.
• Support account updater initiatives, retry strategies, and processor performance efforts.
• Discover opportunities to lower operational costs and losses while enhancing authorization rates.
• Share insights on performance, root cause analyses, and mitigation strategies across various teams.
• Act as the analytics and reporting extension of the Payments & Fraud team.
• Report directly to the Senior Vice President of Operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in business analytics, preferably in the payments and fraud sector.
• Proficient in SQL.
• Experience with large and complex datasets.
• Demonstrated ability to provide business insights and performance-oriented recommendations.
• Experience in building dashboards and generating reports using Tableau.
• Familiarity with card-not-present (CNP) subscription-based payments is a plus.
• Previous experience with Cybersource Decision Manager or similar fraud decisioning tools is preferred.
• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive, demonstrating strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
