This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Build and sustain partnerships at the executive level across both business and technology functions.
• Assess investment opportunities, create business cases, delineate success metrics, and ensure realization of business outcomes.
• Take charge of the strategy and execution of business analysis across various programs, portfolios, and enterprise initiatives.
• Provide strategic oversight for Epics, Features, and the lifecycle of requirements artifacts.
• Lead the discovery, analysis, facilitation, and modeling of complex requirements across multiple business domains.
• Offer guidance to leadership on prioritization, funding, resource distribution, value measurement, and portfolio trade-offs.
• Evaluate business cases, contracts, architectural artifacts, and program deliverables to ensure alignment with strategic, operational, and compliance standards.
• Examine operational, financial, and business performance data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable recommendations.
• Set estimates, funding assumptions, business value metrics, and outcome measures.
• Manage enterprise-level risks, dependencies, issues, and decision-making points.
• Deliver executive-level reporting, insights, and strategic recommendations.
• Assist leaders in assessing business impacts, solution alternatives, trade-offs, and implications of organizational change.
• Drive the adoption of AI-enabled tools, advanced analytics, automation, and emerging technologies.
• Establish, govern, and enhance business analysis methodologies, standards, tools, templates, and best practices.
• Lead and support transformation efforts, organizational change, mergers and acquisitions, and modernization initiatives.
• Mentor and coach Business Analysts, Business Operations professionals, and project teams.
• Present strategic insights, business recommendations, and program outcomes to executive leadership and stakeholders.
• Carry out other job-related responsibilities as requested.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• Equivalent years of relevant work experience may be considered in place of the required education.
• A minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience in business analysis, requirements management, or a related field is required.
• Relevant experience in the payer industry is essential.
• Specific knowledge and experience in business domains, particularly regarding regulatory reporting and compliance requirements, are mandatory.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, JIRA, Modern Requirements, or similar business requirements management tools and software development processes, including hybrid/agile methodologies, is required.
• In-depth understanding of business analysis methodologies, requirements management practices, SDLCs, and enterprise delivery frameworks is essential.
• Outstanding strategic thinking, systems analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills at the executive level.
• Proven ability to lead multiple cross-functional teams, programs, and enterprise initiatives.
• Expertise in business case development, investment analysis, ROI assessment, and value realization.
• Advanced knowledge of healthcare payer operations, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards is necessary.
• Capability to establish standards, governance processes, and organizational best practices.
• Experience in utilizing AI-enabled tools, advanced analytics, and automation technologies.
• Proficient in analyzing and interpreting complex operational, financial, and performance data.
• Experience in supporting large-scale transformations, mergers and acquisitions, or organizational integration efforts.
• Certifications such as IIBA, Six Sigma, ITIL, and/or Agile, Lean, SAFe are preferred.
