Business Analyst Intern III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Identify, quantify, and model new business opportunities while capturing essential data.

• Collect, analyze, and assess information regarding internal operations, customers, competitors, and various market factors.

• Enhance business competitive advantage and operational efficiency through comprehensive data analysis, modeling, and management.

• Develop and implement tools aimed at customer account management, business acquisition, and optimizing repair center operations.

• Improve processes for data capture, cleansing, organization, and modeling.

• Contribute to the design and development of capabilities related to business lifecycle, CRM, operational optimization, and opportunity identification.

• Collaborate with seasoned professionals on significant projects within the LEAP Internship & Co-op Program.

• Participate in career development initiatives and build connections with business leaders and fellow students.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled and maintaining good academic standing in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Analytics, Business, Mathematics, or a related field, or pursuing a degree with an Analytics or Business minor/concentration.

• Preference for rising juniors pursuing an undergraduate degree.

• Familiarity or experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

• Proficiency in data preparation and cleaning techniques/tools like MS Power Query, Alteryx, or Tableau Prep.

• Understanding of SQL.

• Competence in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

• Prior experience with business intelligence tools is preferred.

• Experience with Python is an advantage.

• Comfort with complex data relationships (ERD).

• Familiarity with machine learning, time series analysis, and deep learning frameworks is a plus.

• Strong prompt engineering skills to effectively leverage AI when needed.

• Previous experience in the aerospace industry is a plus.
