
Business Analyst II β Fraud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Execute analytical tasks that safeguard the platform while enhancing the experience for legitimate users.
β’ Develop, document, and maintain dashboards along with reusable analyses to monitor fraud performance and critical risk indicators.
β’ Simplify intricate datasets into actionable recommendations, clear visual representations, and succinct talking points for non-technical audiences.
β’ Collaborate with Engineering, Fraud Operations, and Product teams to identify and address data, performance, and process deficiencies.
β’ Perform in-depth analyses that support business decisions related to fraud.
β’ Define and fulfill ad-hoc data requests related to fraud trends and product initiatives.
β’ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Statistics, Finance, Mathematics, Analytics, or a related discipline.
β’ Over 2 years of experience in risk analytics, fraud detection, or a related data-centric field, ideally within online gaming, Daily Fantasy Sports, or fintech.
β’ Proficient understanding of common fraud vectors in an online transactional context, including payment fraud, identity fraud, and bonus abuse.
β’ Advanced SQL skills for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
β’ Experience in data visualization tools, such as Tableau.
β’ Strong proficiency in Excel.
β’ Python experience is advantageous for automation, modeling, or statistical analysis.
β’ Exceptional communication abilities, capable of conveying complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
β’ Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
β’ Ability to balance fraud risk with player experience.
β’ Organized, dependable, inquisitive, and a growth-oriented team player.
β’ Proven experience in data-driven critical thinking, problem-solving, and providing recommendations.
β’ Must have authorization to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
