Business Analyst, I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Assist in the creation and upkeep of Tableau dashboards to fulfill operational reporting requirements.

• Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions by taking notes, documenting action items, and organizing the results from meetings.

• Conduct basic data analysis to uncover trends and present preliminary insights under the guidance of senior analysts.

• Aid in converting analytical results into concise summaries and supporting documents for team evaluations.

• Write and run basic T-SQL queries to retrieve data from structured sources.

• Maintain and refresh Excel-based reports utilizing standard formulas, pivot tables, and charts.

• Assist in crafting PowerPoint presentations to support internal reporting and program updates.

• Collaborate with colleagues and cross-functional teams to comprehend data needs and ensure timely delivery of results.

• Conduct data quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency across reporting sources.

• Participate in team documentation activities, such as process notes, data dictionaries, and workflow summaries.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.

• 1–2 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role; internship experience is acceptable.

• Basic knowledge of Tableau or comparable data visualization tools; coursework or project experience preferred.

• Fundamental proficiency in SQL/T-SQL for data querying and reporting purposes.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and basic charting techniques.

• Excellent attention to detail with the capability to work accurately under structured guidance.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities, coupled with a collaborative attitude.

• Familiarity with Python, PowerShell, or other scripting languages is a plus but not mandatory.
