Business Analyst, Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Assist Finance leadership by providing financial analysis, management reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc business assessments.

• Create financial presentations and offer recommendations for executive leadership.

• Develop and sustain financial models, reports, dashboards, and analytical tools.

• Aggregate, cleanse, validate, and analyze financial and operational data to uncover trends, risks, anomalies, and opportunities.

• Evaluate Actual versus Budget versus Forecast performance and deliver insights on revenue, costs, margins, profitability, and essential business drivers.

• Facilitate budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and business planning activities.

• Construct business cases and cost-benefit analyses while supporting additional Finance initiatives.

• Leverage AI tools, Power Query, and automation to enhance repetitive Finance processes, increase reporting accuracy, and minimize manual tasks.

• Collaborate closely with Finance and other departments to address data/reporting issues and assist in business decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required.

• 6–7 years of experience in Business Analysis, Financial Analysis, FP&A, Management Reporting, or a comparable Finance Analyst role.

• Capability to identify, design, and implement AI-enabled and automated Finance workflows.

• Practical experience with Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, along with automation platforms like Power Automate, UiPath, Alteryx, Zapier, or Make.

• Familiarity with APIs, Python, low-code tools, and ERP/Finance system integrations is advantageous.

• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, advanced formulas, Power Query, financial modeling, dashboards, and report automation.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation abilities, with exceptional attention to detail.

• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the capability to present financial information clearly.
