Business Analyst – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and uphold a transparent and effective backlog along with a short-term roadmap.

• Facilitate product decision-making by collaborating with subject-matter experts, Data Science, Engineering, and UX teams.

• Convert changes in methodology into customer-oriented requirements and acceptance criteria.

• Specify how the product connects with and integrates into other platform functionalities.

• Clarify how the outcomes contribute to wider decision-making processes.

• Make assumptions, limitations, and reconciliation needs visible and clear to stakeholders.

• Assist in defining ownership and scope for ambiguous areas of the product experience.

• Prepare product project work to aid AI-driven discovery, requirements, and validation.

• Maintain documentation that supports reliable data queries and future semantic/AI modeling requirements.

• Assist in forecasting releases and enhancements.

• Document and plan for a new forecasting engine and methodology translation.

• Develop documentation for scenario modeling and future-state assumptions.

• Specify integration points across forecasting, claims, clearinghouse, market data, and decision-support processes.

• Define requirements for the AI chat/assistant capabilities of Forecast.

• Support experience design across Forecast entry points, workflows, and analytical surfaces.

• Ensure Forecast data readiness aligns with the overall platform delivery roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong foundation in business analysis: gathering requirements, documentation, and translating ambiguity into clear specifications.

• Solid fundamentals in project/product management: backlog management, sequencing, and cross-team collaboration.

• Comfortable communicating data assumptions and methodologies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience working across various capability areas.

• Familiarity with AI-ready documentation and concepts related to trusted analytics.

• Excellent written communication abilities.

• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar backlog/work-tracking tools.

• Healthcare utilization and demand forecasting experience is a plus.

• Scenario modeling experience is desirable.

• Background in strategic planning or service-line growth decision support is a plus.

• Experience with Sigma and/or Databricks is advantageous.

• Previous experience embedded within a client organization as a contract PM/BA is a plus.
