Business Analyst, Brokerage and Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Gather and document client requirements through meetings, onsite visits, workshops, interviews, document analysis, and data evaluation.

• Create, present, and finalize solution artifacts including file and database designs, sample data presentations, screens, diagrams, use cases, as well as business and system processes.

• Plan, allocate resources, and collaborate with both internal and external functional teams throughout the conversion lifecycle.

• Comprehend baseline products, modules, data models, functional and technical interdependencies, along with configuration methods.

• Conduct joint reviews of use cases, user stories, scenarios, and workflow diagrams to ensure alignment of client solutions with BRACS baseline products.

• Assist Project Managers with project scope, client relationship management, work estimation, resource allocation, and task prioritization.

• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Client Service Managers, Product Specialists, and Developers to finalize solution documentation and communicate solutions to clients.

• Convert business requirements into functional specifications for technical product development and configuration.

• Create SQL scripts and other tools for data analysis, quality assurance, defect resolution, functional requirements, and system configurations.

• Advance project tasks through JIRA.

• Provide external client training on delivered solutions.

• Evaluate and analyze User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production support issues and requests, reviewing documentation and JIRA history while coordinating with BRACS teams.

• Facilitate requirements gathering, deployment support, and project oversight at client locations as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in brokerage operations.

• Proven experience in the finance technology data services and wealth platform industry.

• Strong analytical capabilities, including data analysis, data relationship modeling, and mapping.

• SQL skills are preferred.

• Experience collaborating on software projects with software engineers, technical teams, QA testers, sales personnel, customer support, and client management.

• Ability to write business and functional requirements for software development.

• Capacity to serve as a liaison between business and management units, technology teams, and operational support teams.

• Experience navigating across departments within a Business Unit and across divisions within the wider corporate structure.

• Some travel to client sites may be necessary.
