Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Assist in the modernization of technology and service delivery initiatives in a public-sector context.

• Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and project leadership.

• Evaluate business requirements and outline both business and technical specifications.

• Enhance business processes while aiding in their development, improvement, and re-engineering.

• Facilitate the delivery of intricate technology solutions.

• Play a role in establishing secure technology infrastructure within correctional facilities.

• Contribute to video visitation services, system integration, process modernization, and enhancements in digital service delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in gathering and analyzing requirements from a variety of stakeholder groups.

• More than 5 years of experience in converting business requirements into comprehensive technical specifications.

• At least 4 years of experience in leading and managing business process development, improvement, or re-engineering.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in creating integrated system and technical design specifications.

• At least 1 year of experience with systems or business processes specific to correctional facilities.

• Solid experience in business and technical analysis within complex IT environments.

• Exceptional skills in stakeholder engagement, facilitation, communication, and documentation.

• Proven experience in working with cross-functional business and technical teams.

• Capable of analyzing complex issues, determining root causes, and proposing suitable solutions.
