Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Oversee intricate data analysis and propose enhancements.

• Act as a strategic ERP consultant for leadership.

• Establish system scope and objectives through investigation and data collection.

• Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders and subject matter experts.

• Lead the design and adaptation of complex business information systems.

• Document requirements and address system logic challenges.

• Identify, suggest, and implement programs and solutions while balancing cost, performance, and resources.

• Compose and present comprehensive reports and documentation.

• Execute project and functional requirements, as well as functional/technical design, configuration, testing, and process documentation.

• Recognize change impacts and training requirements.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.

• Assist and manage end-user issues.

• Maintain system configuration, conduct testing, and support end users in accordance with WEST standards.

• Design, develop, and implement sophisticated data reporting and business intelligence systems.

• Recommend technology solutions that align with business strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in business analysis.

• Capability to conduct complex data analysis.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to synthesize data and information into presentations and materials.

• Knowledge of methods to assess business needs and recommend appropriate solutions, including policy, process, or system improvements.

• Over 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst with progressively increasing responsibilities, or over 3 years of experience supporting Workday (preferred).

• Experience collaborating in FIN and/or cross-functional teams (preferred).

• Experience in a higher education environment (preferred).

• Experience with an ERP system in implementation or maintenance (preferred).

• Experience with Workday/cloud ERP implementation or maintenance (preferred).

• Eligibility to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

• Availability to work primarily during Monday-Friday business hours, starting no later than 9:00 AM CST and ending no earlier than 3:00 PM CST, with on-call or weekend rotation as necessary.
