Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vietnam.

📋 Description

• Collect, analyze, and document business and functional requirements through workshops, interviews, and collaborative sessions.

• Craft User Stories with distinct Acceptance Criteria encompassing functional logic, edge cases, and UI/UX behavior.

• Review and annotate Figma wireframes and user flows to ensure alignment with requirements.

• Facilitate 3 Amigos sessions prior to each sprint.

• Confirm that stories satisfy the Definition of Ready before sprint planning.

• Transfer requirements to development and QA teams and offer Q&A support during sprints.

• Engage in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Maintain traceability of requirements from business needs through to acceptance testing.

• Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and the internal delivery team.

• Manage MVP scope, evaluate new requests, negotiate phased alternatives, and oversee the post-MVP backlog.

• Lead client walkthroughs, sprint demos, and UAT sessions.

• Generate status updates, decision logs, and records of scope changes.

• Review deliverables against acceptance criteria and monitor defects.

• Identify compliance implications, including CASS, AML, and data privacy regulations.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of BA practices and team methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst on software delivery projects.

• Proficient in writing User Stories with clear Acceptance Criteria in the Given/When/Then format.

• Strong Agile delivery experience, encompassing Scrum, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.

• Skills in requirement elicitation, including workshops, stakeholder interviews, process analysis, and gap identification.

• Capable of managing and defending scope, negotiating phased alternatives, and documenting decisions.

• Confident in communicating with non-technical clients and cross-functional technical teams.

• Proficient with Jira, Confluence, and Figma at a minimum review and annotation level.

• Excellent written and spoken English skills.

• Ability to independently produce client-facing documentation and present clearly under pressure.
