Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Operate autonomously while collaborating with senior stakeholders to execute impactful projects.

• Integrate frontline support duties with project management and diagnostic troubleshooting responsibilities.

• Execute scrum master tasks, including managing, tracking, and owning essential agile ceremonies.

• Analyze challenges critically and leverage AI tools to independently resolve issues.

• Convey findings and troubleshooting advice to diverse audiences.

• Organize, monitor, and coordinate project activities.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and assist with both business and technical issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a business analyst.

• Proven experience in client-facing roles and a comfort in engaging with senior stakeholders.

• Background in the financial services industry, ideally within capital markets and/or private equity.

• Strong understanding of essential business analysis techniques, including requirements gathering, process mapping, stakeholder analysis, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Demonstrated capability to work independently, troubleshoot issues, and provide prompt, actionable solutions.

• Project-management focused mindset with experience in planning, tracking, and coordinating project activities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel for analysis and reporting purposes.

• Intermediate SQL skills, encompassing joins, aggregations, window functions, and dataset transformation.

• Hands-on experience with AI tools like Cursor and Claude.

• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and other relevant BA/support tools.

• Ability to effectively manage and escalate issues as necessary.

• Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a commitment to agile delivery.

• In-depth understanding of the distinction between coding and engineering.

• Proficient in advanced oral English.

• Proficient in advanced Spanish.
