Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Evaluate business, tax, legal, and regulatory requirements and convert them into functional system specifications for SAP or Oracle EBS solutions.

• Assist in the creation of business analysis documents, functional specifications, process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Engage in requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders, regulatory researchers, product teams, and subject matter experts.

• Conduct impact analysis on ERP processes, modules, configurations, reports, interfaces, and forms.

• Document both current-state and future-state processes while ensuring traceability across requirements, solution design, and testing results.

• Develop test scenarios and test cases, prepare test data, execute functional tests, document outcomes, and report defects.

• Work collaboratively with Development and QA teams to clarify requirements and ensure solutions align with approved designs.

• Diagnose client-reported issues by gathering information, reproducing issues, documenting findings, and escalating concerns as needed.

• Create release notes, configuration instructions, functional guidance, and documentation for clients.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Maintain requirements and delivery documentation using collaboration and work-tracking tools.

• Identify risks, dependencies, gaps, and ambiguous requirements, communicating them in a timely manner.

• Contribute to knowledge sharing, reusable templates, process enhancements, and best practices in business analysis.

• Collaborate effectively within a virtual, global team across various functions and time zones.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Equivalent practical experience may also be considered.

• 1-2 years of experience supporting SAP, Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), or a similar ERP system.

• Basic functional understanding of ERP business processes such as Finance, Procurement, Order Management, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Payroll, or Tax.

• Familiarity with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, Oracle EBS, or related ERP modules and configuration concepts.

• Experience in software implementation, application support, maintenance, enhancement, or testing activities.

• Knowledge of business analysis practices, requirements gathering, process documentation, functional specifications, or user stories.

• Exposure to software testing, including functional testing, defect documentation, regression testing, or User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the interplay between requirements, development, testing, and deployment.

• Experience collaborating with business users, functional analysts, developers, QA analysts, or project teams.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and other relevant productivity tools.

• Capability to work independently in a remote setting with reliable internet access.

• Fluency in English is required; Spanish is a plus.

• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools is preferred.

• Ability to gather, organize, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.

• Quick learner of new business processes, regulatory concepts, and ERP functionalities.

• Experience in Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies is desired.

• Experience creating process flows, test scripts, traceability matrices, or functional design documentation is desired.

• Knowledge of tax, regulatory, payroll, finance, localization, or compliance-related processes is desired.

• Basic knowledge of SQL, reporting tools, interfaces, integrations, or data validation techniques is desired.

• Exposure to ERP implementation or production-support environments is desired.

• Experience with Jira and Confluence is desired.

• Reliable internet connection is necessary.
