Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Collect, document, and assess business requirements

• Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend their needs and convert them into functional specifications

• Develop documentation such as user stories, process flows, and business requirement documents

• Assist in solution design to ensure alignment with business objectives

• Work alongside development and QA teams during the implementation phase

• Engage in testing and validation of solutions

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend optimization strategies

• Support project delivery and adhere to timelines

• Analyze and map current (AS-IS) and future (TO-BE) business processes using BPMN and flowcharts

• Facilitate workshops and sessions with stakeholders

• Pinpoint inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimization across comprehensive processes

• Ensure that process documentation is clear, standardized, and aligned with both business and IT objectives

• Convert process maps into functional requirements and initiatives for improvement

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate processes and implement necessary changes

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst

• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Experience with techniques for gathering requirements, including workshops and interviews

• Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall project management methodologies

• Competent documentation skills, including user stories and business requirements documents (BRDs)

• Proficient in tools like Excel, Jira, Confluence, or similar applications

• Strong skills in process modeling and analysis, including BPMN, process flows, and swimlane diagrams

• Capability to decompose complex workflows into structured components

• Excellent facilitation abilities for workshops and stakeholder interviews

• Analytical mindset geared towards continuous improvement and optimization

• Strong documentation and visualization capabilities using Visio, Lucidchart, or comparable tools

• Solid understanding of business operations and how systems support processes

• Ability to connect business needs with technical execution

• Experience in the aircraft or leasing industry is a plus

• Background in the finance sector is a plus

• Familiarity with Adonis for BPMN or Azure DevOps for planning is a plus
