Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Assume functional ownership of MDM/PIM solutions throughout the entire implementation lifecycle.

• Collect, document, analyze, and prioritize business needs concerning master and product data.

• Evaluate current business processes and data landscapes to pinpoint gaps and areas for enhancement.

• Develop functional specifications, process maps, data flows, and user stories.

• Organize workshops and serve as a vital communication link between business and technical teams.

• Collaborate with Data Architects and MDM/PIM consultants to craft effective solutions.

• Assist with data modeling, taxonomy management, attribute configuration, and product hierarchies.

• Contribute to initiatives focused on data quality, governance frameworks, validation rules, and testing activities.

• Facilitate user training, onboarding, and change management efforts.

• Spot opportunities for continuous improvement and advocate for MDM/PIM best practices.

• Engage with globally recognized brands and international teams in digital transformation initiatives.

• Travel occasionally as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency with STIBO STEP or Collibra.

• Previous experience as a Business Analyst in MDM, PIM, Data Governance, or Data Management projects.

• Skilled in gathering and documenting business requirements and converting them into functional specifications.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and principles of data quality.

• Experience in data modeling, product hierarchies, taxonomies, and master data concepts.

• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and international settings.

• Fluent in English.

• Located in Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, or Poland.

• Experience with Product Information Management platforms is a plus.

• Familiarity with Data Governance frameworks and best practices is advantageous.

• Background in consulting environments is beneficial.

• Experience in facilitating workshops and business process improvement initiatives is a plus.

• Understanding of MDM implementation methodologies is a plus.
