Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with team members and clients to assist in the development of web applications and data visualization tools.

• Complete designated tasks utilizing an agile development framework.

• Support the execution of development sprints.

• Utilize Jira and Confluence to monitor progress and maintain technical documentation.

• Collect and document requirements along with business processes for product design and planning.

• Develop test plans and test cases.

• Conduct manual software testing and execute automated test cases.

• Gain familiarity with socioeconomic and environmental datasets along with federal environmental programs.

• Analyze, summarize, and interpret environmental data and scientific findings.

• Engage in agile/scrum team ceremonies and participate in client status meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• BS/MS in information technology, health or environmental science, or related interdisciplinary majors or fields (e.g., mathematics, science, engineering).

• A minimum GPA of 3.0.

• 1 to 4 years of pertinent experience.

• Capability to pass a public trust-level background investigation as part of the credentialing process for federal clients.

• Ability to work independently and complete tasks promptly.

• Skill in managing multiple tasks concurrently to meet various project requirements.

• Curiosity and dedication to continuous learning, including the ability to master new skills.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Familiarity with an Agile software development methodology.

• Certified ScrumMaster or a similar certification.

• Experience in writing automated test cases using Selenium, SoapUI, or other software.

• Proficiency with Qlik, Tableau, or other data visualization tools.
