Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Lead comprehensive analyses of cross-functional business processes.

• Identify inefficiencies, control gaps, redundancies, and risk exposures.

• Define and document current-state processes utilizing structured modeling standards such as BPMN.

• Design future-state processes that align with strategic objectives, regulatory requirements, and performance targets.

• Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and value stream methodologies.

• Establish models for process ownership, governance structures, and performance metrics.

• Create and maintain a structured inventory of processes and a control framework.

• Monitor and report on measurable improvement outcomes and realization of benefits.

• Define operational KPIs that align with business strategy and process goals.

• Utilize data analysis to identify root causes, validate hypotheses, and assess impact quantitatively.

• Support performance dashboards and management reporting efforts.

• Collaborate with business leaders to oversee and enhance process performance.

• Convert process improvements into both functional and non-functional system requirements.

• Facilitate structured discovery workshops.

• Ensure technology solutions are consistent with future-state processes.

• Conduct assessments of change impact.

• Assist stakeholder adoption through documentation, training, and governance enablement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience leading end-to-end business process improvement projects within complex, technology-driven settings.

• Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, BPMN, value stream mapping, or similar frameworks.

• Proven history of delivering measurable operational enhancements.

• Strong proficiency in current-state assessments, root cause analysis, and future-state process design.

• Experience in establishing process governance, ownership models, and performance metrics.

• Ability to translate process redesign into system, data, and control requirements.

• Experience in facilitating workshops across multiple functions.

• Strong analytical skills with a structured approach to problem-solving using operational data.

• Understanding of technology environments and system change lifecycles.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in business process optimization, operational excellence, or transformation in a technology-enabled environment.

• Experience in regulated, high-control, or payments/financial services sectors is a plus.

• Professional certification in Lean, Six Sigma, BPM, or equivalent is preferred.

• Business Analysis certification (e.g., BCS, CBAP, PMI-PBA) is a plus.

• Experience in supporting large-scale operating model transformations is preferred.

• Familiarity with performance reporting and data visualization tools is advantageous.
