Business Analyst – AI COE

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Collect, analyze, and document the business and functional needs of member operators and internal stakeholders.

• Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions and collaborative meetings with members, internal teams, and vendor delivery teams.

• Map current-state workflows for members and outline target-state processes that the platform will support.

• Transform requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria alongside the Executive Director and development teams.

• Identify source systems, integration requirements, data readiness needs, and dependencies across teams.

• Ensure requirements traceability from the initial intake to delivery using Azure DevOps, Jira, or a comparable platform.

• Organize documentation needs for launches and ongoing operational processes.

• Create service descriptions, onboarding manuals, support documentation, and training materials.

• Collaborate with legal, finance, IT, and business operations on contracts, ordering, billing, and reporting processes.

• Implement version control, review schedules, and maintenance procedures for materials aimed at members.

• Review documentation and manage the AI COE knowledge repository and its documentation lifecycle.

• Oversee member onboarding from the requirements-gathering stage through to go-live.

• Develop and refine standardized onboarding steps, checklists, and guides in partnership with vendor collaborators.

• Manage technical and feature dependencies, such as integration endpoints, API management configurations, and end-to-end validation.

• Coordinate efforts among members, vendors, and internal teams to address requirement gaps and resolve onboarding issues.

• Act as the primary business contact for designated AI COE members.

• Assist with user acceptance testing and confirm that delivered functionalities meet acceptance criteria.

• Create dashboards that track member adoption and utilization of use cases.

• Maintain member success plans with established objectives.

• Identify underutilized features and suggest strategies for increased adoption.

• Convert member feedback into enhancement requests, roadmap suggestions, and operational improvements.

• Generate executive reports on member engagement, value realization, and platform performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in business administration, information systems, computer science, data analytics, or a related field, or a combination of education and relevant professional experience.

• Over 5 years of experience functioning as a business analyst in software, data, or platform delivery.

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform, and Copilot.

• Understanding of APIs, system integrations, and data flows.

• Strong skills in requirements elicitation, process mapping, business analysis, and technical documentation.

• Proven ability to produce clear, structured business and technical drafts that can serve as a foundation for others.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities for both business and technical audiences.

• Experience in managing cross-team dependencies during delivery projects.

• Familiarity with AI, machine learning, generative AI, or data analytics platforms is preferred.

• A valid driver's license.

• Remote home office must be based in Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, North Carolina, or Texas.

• Willingness to travel occasionally, up to 10% of the time.

• Ability to work outside regular business hours, including evenings or weekends, when necessary.
