Business Analyst 4 – Change Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Assist in the Design, Development, and Implementation (DDI) projects within the Change Management Office.

• Process MES O&M requests and their corresponding deliverables.

• Manage, log, track, and route FAS DDI deliverables, design documents, and new requests to Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and project managers.

• Handle approvals and rejections from the FAS vendor as well as deliverables from MES vendors affected by FAS DDI.

• Oversee the quality of transfer, storage, and processing of deliverables utilizing version control.

• Maintain databases, tracking logs, project deliverable files, project folders, and relevant documentation.

• Create and/or publish regular and ad-hoc status reports.

• Provide answers and data to project inquiries from both management and staff.

• Collaborate with Information Management, PMO teams, DMAS SMEs, project teams, management, and vendors.

• Ensure alignment of change management workstreams and related activities with the PMO.

• Coordinate with program and project management to facilitate smooth transitions and raise release awareness prior to deployment.

• Fulfill change management requirements and tasks.

• Employ a structured methodology to lead change management activities.

• Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders.

• Act as the primary IT contact for the Change Management team.

• Function as the program librarian, ensuring documentation is accurately filed and versioned.

• Serve as a critical resource for project reporting and coordination.

• Engage in all phases of the project Systems Development Life Cycle.


⛳️ Requirements

• Significant work-related knowledge and experience with Change and Release Management methodologies using version control — 5 years required.

• Extensive work-related knowledge and experience with the Systems Development Life Cycle — 5 years required.

• Proficiency in data entry and work order processing — 5 years required.

• Experience in tracking and reporting, controlling processes, and managing workflows — 5 years required.

• Exceptional oral and written communication and customer service skills with both internal and external customers — 5 years required.

• Considerable work-related experience in an IT environment — 5 years highly desired.

• Experience in the healthcare sector is a plus.

• Professional with robust analytical and people management skills.

• Familiarity with common IT terminology, including design documents, test plans, and work plans.
