This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
• Collaborate with Customer Managers to formulate and implement business strategies.
• Create and oversee strategic plans for designated retailers and wholesalers.
• Synchronize strategies and plans with Region Broker Managers while identifying opportunities and risks.
• Equip Customer Managers with analytical insights for category/line reviews and presentations for new items.
• Manage trade funds and ensure transparency.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of Customer Managers.
• Collaborate with the Insights lead to leverage insights across category/brand, consumer/shopper, and channel/retail dimensions.
• Utilize syndicated and other data sources to manage and inform strategic and tactical trade initiatives.
• Conduct ad hoc financial and data analyses, including evaluations before and after events.
• Establish customer-level distribution and merchandising goals backed by insights and activation plans.
• Join customer sales calls with the Customer Manager Team when appropriate.
• Create and present content for the CROSSMARK Business Review process.
• Ensure that client plans are developed and maintained in CROSSVIEW and the client's Trade Planning System.
• Execute other job-related duties as assigned by management.
• A bachelor's degree from a four-year university is preferred; relevant experience may be accepted in place of a degree.
• A minimum of 5–7 years of experience in sales or marketing.
• Experience working with a major chain customer.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Nielsen and other syndicated data sources.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong collaboration and influencing abilities.
• Capability to communicate effectively, think strategically, and resolve problems.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and follow through on commitments.
• English is the primary language; bilingual skills may be necessary based on business needs.
• Willingness to travel 20–30% of the time.
