Building Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +3 more locations.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Building Systems Engineering and Customer Success teams to enhance customer value.

• Partner with product and engineering teams to facilitate the onboarding of building systems data.

• Enhance data processing capabilities and quality control tools.

• Continuously improve Noda’s AI-driven technology.

• Assist in servicing customer accounts, identifying new opportunities, managing renewals, and reducing churn.

• Represent the customer's perspective and provide insights to inform the product development roadmap.

• Spearhead solution improvements alongside the Product team.

• Establish yourself as the technical expert on the engineering and financial aspects of building performance.

• Master and utilize the Noda technology stack, consisting of Platform, Salesforce, and Slack.

• Observe and lead client meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in energy consulting or a related discipline.

• Extensive knowledge of HVAC/Controls systems (such as chillers, boilers, BMS, etc.).

• Proficient in quantifying energy savings.

• Strong quantitative abilities to model efficiency initiatives and translate system optimizations into measurable financial impacts.

• Capability to convert technical ideas into clear business benefits for both operational and executive customer audiences.

• Skills in relationship management and customer advocacy.

• Enthusiasm for SaaS, proactive approach, curiosity about AI and innovation, alongside strong leadership qualities.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• Previous experience in SaaS customer success, familiarity with SkySpark, and expertise in agentic AI tools are advantageous.
