Building Envelope Manager – Mid-Atlantic Gypsum

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Protect and expand market share for commercial glass mat roofing and wall products.

• Introduce creative solutions for challenges in commercial building projects.

• Build and nurture relationships with architects, consultants, building owners, system manufacturers, and other key stakeholders.

• Formulate and execute strategies to enhance and safeguard market share.

• Utilize databases to identify project opportunities.

• Establish a market presence through industry associations and local connections.

• Collaborate throughout the sales process from product selection to installation.

• Leverage Salesforce CRM for business collaboration and communication.

• Act as a technical product resource for value-added roof and wall products in the commercial sector.

• Deliver sales forecasts that reflect trends, competition, and market conditions within the designated territory.

• Work together with Marketing, Technical, and Sales teams within the Gypsum Business.

• Operate independently and take accountability as part of a national team.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in technical sales.

• Proficiency in delivering technical presentations.

• Willingness and capability to travel up to 50% of the time.

• A valid US driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Must be a resident or willing to relocate to the Mid-Atlantic region, ideally Virginia, Maryland, or Pennsylvania.

• Preferred experience in technical and specification sales related to commercial building materials.

• Experience in delivering AIA-accredited courses and educational sessions is preferred.

• Preferred knowledge of commercial building enclosure design and construction practices.

• Industry certifications such as CDT, CCPR, or RRO are preferred.

• Familiarity with Salesforce as a tool for sales enablement and collaboration is preferred.

• A Bachelor's degree in Management, Engineering, Building Construction, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
