Brownfield Environmental Engineer – EPA Grant Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ASTM E1527/E1903)

• Develop cleanup alternatives and strategies for redevelopment

• Oversee EPA brownfield cooperative agreements, which include ACRES reporting, quarterly reports, Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPPs), and budget management

• Facilitate community engagement and manage site inventory and prioritization

• Provide qualifications and past-performance narratives for AlphaGov proposals when authorized for inclusion

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in brownfield assessment or management of EPA Brownfield grants

• Familiarity with EPA Brownfields cooperative agreements and ACRES

• Able to work as a 1099 project-based consultant

• Possession of a PE or PG license (required for assessment tasks)

• Recognized as an Environmental Professional in accordance with AAI regulations

• Experience in New York or New Mexico
