NOC Infrastructure Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Provide operational assistance for a 24/7 Network Operations Center (NOC) environment that supports both Linux and Windows systems.

• Operate, maintain, and oversee Linux and Windows systems that facilitate production operations.

• Conduct data backup and recovery tasks.

• Monitor, manage, and uphold the performance of Linux and Windows servers and applications.

• Develop and maintain operating procedures and documentation tailored to specific environments.

• Create, manage, and oversee user accounts and group memberships within Active Directory.

• Perform daily system monitoring to ensure system integrity, availability, and the successful execution of scheduled jobs and backups.

• Define, prioritize, troubleshoot, and resolve support requests effectively.

• Administer and oversee cloud-based infrastructure and managed services.

• Develop, maintain, and utilize automation scripts with Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar technologies.

• Assist with patch management across both Linux and Windows environments.

• Create and maintain operational, configuration, and knowledge base documentation.

• Lead shift operations when necessary.

• Participate in a rotating shift schedule in a 24/7 production environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in Linux and Windows system administration.

• Proven experience supporting production infrastructure in a 24/7 operational setting.

• Strong expertise in Linux and Windows server administration.

• Experience with system and application monitoring in production environments.

• Familiarity with networking concepts, including DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, IP networking, and network troubleshooting.

• Experience in administering Microsoft infrastructure technologies such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Windows Security.

• Proficiency with cloud platforms and virtualization technologies, including AWS, Azure, VMware, and Hyper-V.

• Experience in developing automation scripts using Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting languages.

• Working knowledge of SQL queries and database troubleshooting.

• Experience in web server administration and configuration.

• Familiarity with enterprise monitoring tools like Nagios, Datadog, Jira, Salesforce, or similar platforms.

• Experience in incident management, documentation of resolutions, and adherence to operational procedures.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
