This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Oversee the daily management of a prominent snack brand portfolio.
• Implement marketing strategies that promote business growth through brand development, innovation, consumer engagement, and performance enhancement.
• Act as the primary point of contact for snack brands in areas such as marketing, innovation, pricing, distribution, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Create and execute annual marketing plans, set KPIs, and allocate budgets; assess ROI and propose future strategies.
• Lead the development of the innovation pipeline and ensure successful product execution via the Stage Gate process.
• Facilitate weekly team meetings, manage follow-ups, and tackle problem-solving initiatives to ensure timely and successful launches.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish go-to-market strategies, brand growth initiatives, and product launches.
• Craft compelling selling stories and marketing materials to empower customer teams in their sales efforts.
• Organize marketing activities related to retail business, including product specifications, packaging changes, customer inquiries, and product presentations.
• Assist in monthly demand forecasting by supplying marketing activity and anticipated lift information.
• Oversee website updates and analyze data analytics.
• Deliver competitive reviews and business performance updates.
• Monitor and report on competitive brand positioning, pricing, marketing strategies, social/digital tactics, and overall performance.
• Conduct product reviews, which include product panels, sample procurement, documentation, and review protocols.
• Analyze shifts and drivers within the Popcorn business to manage brand deliverables and future initiatives.
• Suggest adjustments to price-pack architecture, SKU lineup, and distribution focus.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA is highly preferred).
• A minimum of 4 years of classic CPG Brand Management experience; background in Food or Beverage is preferred.
• Strong understanding of business fundamentals and the ability to translate insights into sustainable growth strategies and action plans.
• Excellent financial and strategic acumen, analytical skills, and communication abilities.
• Ability to make independent decisions and influence others effectively.
• Strong project management skills with the capability to prioritize and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with syndicated data systems (Nielsen, Consumer Household Panel, etc.).
• Experience in managing and utilizing primary consumer research while manipulating various data sources to derive business insights and actions.
• Proficiency in computer applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Capability to meet the physical and working-condition requirements, which include prolonged computer work, occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds, and functioning in the specified office environment.
