Brand Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Assist in managing significant brand and manufacturer relationships through the preparation of communications, proposals, and briefing materials.

• Address daily communications via calls and emails with brand partners and manufacturers, escalating important issues to the SVP of Partnerships.

• Monitor open commitments and action items, ensuring they are successfully concluded.

• Sustain commercial, marketing, and compliance contacts across the supplier and brand network.

• Oversee brand representation and performance tracking in online marketplaces, including participation in brand registry programs.

• Collaborate with Marketing Operations to execute on-site listings.

• Manage co-op marketing initiatives, which include partner relationship management, ongoing reporting, fund acquisition, and reconciliation.

• Handle the entire MAP violation process, from intake and triage to evidence collection, brand notification, resolution, and case closure.

• Work with the Data Team on MAP detection logic, minimizing false positives, and reporting.

• Generate regular violation reports for leadership and brand partners.

• Maintain documentation for MAP processes and training resources, onboarding workflow participants.

• Administer monthly MAP price updates, including file intake, validation, exception identification, data loading, reconciliation, and resolution of discrepancies.

• Monitor brand-specific effective dates, promotional periods, and exclusions.

• Identify pricing conflicts with actionable recommendations while keeping a record of all changes.

• Manage monthly updates on secondary supply pricing and costs, including the collection, validation, processing, reconciliation, investigation of variances, and escalation.

• Maintain calendars for pricing and costs, producing monthly summaries of cost movements and their margin implications.

• Follow up with manufacturers regarding missing, delayed, or incorrectly formatted cost files.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in partnerships, category or vendor management, pricing operations, or merchandising operations.

• Proven track record of managing recurring operational cycles with external dependencies, including file intake, validation, reconciliation, and handling exceptions.

• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

• Proficient in Microsoft Power BI or willing to achieve proficiency with guidance.

• Capability to analyze extensive spreadsheets, reconcile pricing and cost files, and extract actionable insights.

• Ability to establish requirements and collaborate effectively with a data team to validate outputs.

• Fluent in both written and spoken English.

• Availability to work during US-based EST, CST, or PST hours.

• Reliable high-speed Wi-Fi internet connection.

• No disciplinary actions related to attendance, conduct, or performance within the last 90 days and no impending actions.

• Demonstrated tenacity and follow-through.

• Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Data-driven decision-making abilities and the capacity to present and defend positions to senior leaders and external stakeholders.

• Comfort in operating as the operational lead behind a senior relationship holder.

• Willingness to hold external partners accountable to pricing policies while maintaining relationships.

• Skill in adjusting tone and approach for different audiences.

• Ability to communicate complex information in a straightforward manner.

• Established success in building relationships and earning trust.

• Proactive in escalating issues early.
