BPR Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Offer financial expertise pertaining to DoW for the enhancement of financial capabilities, processes, and workflows within an enterprise-level logistics system.

• Revamp transportation and financial business processes to facilitate the implementation of JTMS.

• Work closely with stakeholders to confirm existing processes and pinpoint capability gaps.

• Carry out Business Process Reengineering (BPR) activities that support financial use cases, comprehensive process modeling, and the breakdown of requirements.

• Evaluate financial and systems processes to discover opportunities for automation, improvement, efficiency, and auditability.

• Investigate FMR and associated source documents to tackle policy-related concerns.

• Provide guidance to BPR and development teams regarding potential regulatory conflicts in the To-Be state, leveraging expertise in FMR.

• Utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to document business rules, decision logic, exception management, and process workflows.

• Analyze the impacts and recommendations related to DOTmLPF-P.

• Convert requirements into Agile SAFe user stories, acceptance criteria, and testing scenarios.

• Collaborate with teams focused on policy, audit readiness, and data governance to ensure traceability, internal controls, and enterprise visibility.

• Identify impacts on upstream and downstream processes and address organizational overlaps and handoffs.

• Engage in user experience evaluations, testing, training, and change management initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of Secret clearance is necessary to begin.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience.

• 3 to 5 years of extensive federal or DoW financial management experience, utilizing DoW accounting and/or business feeder systems.

• Extensive experience with DoW financial Transportation Account Code and G-Invoicing.

• Comprehensive understanding of FMR content.

• Proficient skills in conducting thorough research on FMR and cited federal regulations.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Capability to function effectively as part of a diverse team.

• Willingness to travel locally up to 10%.
