Bookkeeper – Accounts Payable, Receivable

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Generate the debtor list and manage follow-ups on overdue accounts.

• Compile creditor reports for the Directors and ensure timely supplier payments.

• Distribute disbursements across the practice's assignments.

• Assist with the bi-weekly payroll process.

• Take on month-end responsibilities starting from the first working day of each month.

• Arrange travel and accommodation for the Directors.

• Independently manage the financial aspect of the office manager's duties after receiving initial training.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or in accounts payable and receivable.

• Practical experience managing both the debtor and creditor sides within an accounting system.

• Background in supporting a payroll process.

• Familiarity with month-end responsibilities.

• Availability for 3 hours a day, 4 days a week, between 6:00 AM and 2:00 PM PHT.

• Proficient written English skills.

• A dependable internet connection and a quiet workspace.

• Experience with Australian businesses or familiarity with Australian payroll (preferred).

• Background in an accounting, financial planning, or other professional services firm (preferred).

• Knowledge of Xero, MYOB, or practice management software such as XPM, MYOB AE/AO, or APS (preferred).

• Experience in allocating disbursements or recharging costs to client projects (preferred).
