This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
• Conduct thorough investigations and validate facts surrounding losses related to basic and complex automobile accidents.
• Assess coverage, liability, and damages associated with claims.
• Adjust and negotiate claims within the limits of your authority.
• Examine all facets of bodily injury claims, including coverage, damages, subrogation, and litigation processes.
• Exercise discretion and independence while operating under a higher level of authority.
• Utilize an intermediate understanding of insurance policies and their organizational structures.
• Identify potential for subrogation or fraud and determine appropriate handling methods.
• Recognize customer needs and deliver suitable customer service.
• Identify vehicle body components and comprehend possible property damage.
• Collaborate with fraud and subrogation representatives to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Manage claims related to homeowner, commercial, or auto liability.
• Proven experience in handling homeowner, commercial, or auto liability claims.
• Litigation experience may be required.
• Availability to work from 8 AM to 5 PM Pacific Time.
• Strong analytical capabilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Competence in managing and negotiating claims effectively.
• Customer service-focused mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time management abilities, particularly in global case management and pending matters.
• Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to identify discrepancies and recognize issues from various sources.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Must terminate any existing insurance-license appointments prior to onboarding if currently holding an active insurance license.
• Must not maintain outside insurance-license appointments during employment.
• Applicants with a resident producer license must formally surrender it when directed by the licensing team.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Must have a dedicated, distraction-free home workspace with suitable desk and seating arrangements.
• Reliable internet connection with a minimum of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload speeds.
• Incentive pay (commission, bonus, etc.) if applicable.
• Comprehensive technology setup, including a laptop, monitors, headset, keyboard, and mouse.
• Monthly connectivity reimbursement to help offset internet costs.
• Remote work arrangement.
