
Bodily Injury Adjuster β Represented Third Party Casualty

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Conduct investigations on moderate to complex casualty claims, which include single or multi-car accidents, as well as represented moderate or major claims.
β’ Manage specialized claims that are complex or highly complex, such as those related to business interruption, loss of income, and Errors and Omissions policies.
β’ Supervise investigations related to liability and bodily injury.
β’ Collect recorded statements.
β’ Address loss-of-use claims.
β’ Facilitate payments to the appropriate parties.
β’ Negotiate and resolve bodily injury matters, or refer unresolved issues as necessary.
β’ Summarize documentation and input notes into the claims management system.
β’ Handle, research, and resolve intricate customer communications, concerns, conflicts, or issues.
β’ Evaluate medical reports for the purpose of claims settlement assessment.
β’ Research, respond to, or become involved in complaints or investigations initiated by the Department of Insurance.
β’ Establish and update initial reserves, document the rationale, and maintain summary notes for claims.
β’ Determine and clarify minimum coverage limits and the value of claims.
β’ Thoroughly document claim files with notes, evaluations, and the decision-making process.
β’ Previous experience in handling represented casualty claims is required.
β’ Claims experience is preferred in at least one of the following states: NY, NJ, PA, FL, VA, or NC.
β’ A minimum of 2β5 years of experience in managing moderate to complex bodily injury claims is required.
β’ Excellent communication skills, particularly over the phone, are essential.
β’ Ability to work independently and remotely while effectively managing time is necessary.
β’ Familiarity with insurance policies, coverage, and liability determination is required.
β’ Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities are a must.
β’ Knowledge of innovative tools and platforms for effective claims evaluation is beneficial.
β’ A home office setup with a dedicated, distraction-free workspace is required.
β’ Minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB down and 5 MB up is necessary.
β’ An appropriate work surface and seating are essential.
β’ Candidates must reside in the United States; this position is not available to residents of California, Alaska, Hawaii, or Washington.
β’ Submission to a background investigation is mandatory.
β’ Candidates may be required to obtain an applicable adjuster and/or appraiser license within 60 days of hire.
