Board Member – Part-time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Serve as an advisor at the Board level regarding governance, strategy, regulatory issues, and business performance.

• Assist the company in navigating the MiCA licensing process, focusing on regulatory preparedness, documentation, and governance frameworks.

• Oversee compliance with Polish financial laws and EU regulations concerning crypto-assets.

• Act as the company's representative to regulators and external stakeholders when necessary.

• Evaluate Board-level KPIs, financial outcomes, operational risks, and strategic initiatives.

• Provide guidance to the CEO and senior leadership on regulatory, corporate, and market-related issues.

• Participate in discussions regarding product strategy, expansion in Europe, risk management, and business development.

• Enhance internal governance practices, accountability measures, reporting structures, and decision-making protocols.

• Cultivate trusted relationships with regulators, industry partners, and significant market stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must have permanent residency in Poland.

• Proficient in both Polish and English.

• At least 2 years of experience in senior management roles within financial services, FinTech, payments, crypto, banking, or similar regulated sectors.

• Deep understanding of governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, and accountability at the Board level.

• Prior experience as a Board member, Director, or in a senior leadership role within a regulated firm is highly desirable.

• Possess an excellent professional reputation, free from any adverse records, sanctions, or issues that may hinder regulatory approval.

• Strong strategic thinking capabilities, commercial insight, and the ability to facilitate business growth in a regulated landscape.

• Familiarity with crypto, digital assets, MiCA, AML, or virtual asset operations is a significant advantage.

• Demonstrated strategic thinking and decision-making abilities.

• A mindset oriented towards Board-level leadership and governance.

• High awareness of regulatory and risk factors.

• Business-oriented approach with strong commercial awareness.
