Board Certified Christian Counselor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver professional Christian faith-centered counseling via secure telehealth services.

• Integrate Biblical principles into counseling sessions when suitable and aligned with client objectives and preferences.

• Support clients dealing with emotional, relational, marital, familial, grief, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and spiritual issues.

• Create personalized treatment plans and counseling objectives.

• Maintain prompt, accurate, and professional clinical documentation.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers and referral sources as necessary.

• Adhere to ethical, professional, and Biblical standards of practice.

• Engage in team meetings and ongoing professional development opportunities as requested.

⛳️ Requirements

• A current Board Certification in Christian Counseling from a nationally recognized certifying body is mandatory.

• Candidates must provide proof of Board Certification during the hiring process.

• A solid understanding of Biblical principles and their ethical application in counseling.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

• Experience in counseling, coaching, ministry care, or similar helping professions.

• Capability to provide services professionally via a telehealth platform.

• Strong documentation and organizational abilities.

• A reliable internet connection and a private workspace for virtual counseling.

• Preference for Louisiana residents; qualified candidates from other states may also be considered.

• Preferred graduate education in Counseling, Psychology, Theology, Divinity, Marriage & Family Therapy, Social Work, Pastoral Counseling, or related fields.

• Active clinical licensure (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, Psychologist, etc.) is encouraged but not mandatory unless required for specific services offered.
