Bioprocessing Sales Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of strategic opportunity development within the designated territory.

• Establish multi-level relationships with both technical and commercial stakeholders.

• Work closely with BAM/Inside Sales, Field Applications, Product Management, Marketing, Customer Service, Operations, and Quality to enhance funnel creation, reduce sales cycles, and elevate customer outcomes.

• Propel revenue growth and funnel development for KrosFlo small scale TFF systems, such as KR2i, FS-15, KMPi, KMPi, FS-500, along with corresponding RPM-enabled configurations.

• Formulate and implement territory and account plans, focusing on whitespace, strategic accounts, active opportunities, and consumables pull-through.

• Assess customer requirements across process development, scale-up, UF/DF, concentration, diafiltration, and process intensification workflows.

• Leverage TFF, UF/DF, hollow fiber, and flat sheet cassette expertise to design customer solutions.

• Articulate KrosFlo's modular, plug-and-play configurability utilizing software, scales, sensors, pumps, Konduit, ABV, and integrated process monitoring.

• Relate system selection to process volume, pressure, flow rate, membrane area, filter format, and scale-up necessities.

• Cultivate relationships with stakeholders in process development, manufacturing sciences, operations, procurement, quality, and leadership.

• Facilitate qualification discussions addressing technical requirements, success criteria, decision processes, procurement pathways, budgets, timelines, and buying influences.

• Develop value propositions surrounding process efficiency, reproducibility, automation, data visibility, reduced manual intervention, and enhanced process confidence.

• Sustain a multi-quarter Salesforce funnel with next steps, opportunity stage discipline, closing plans, risk mitigation, and precise forecasting.

• Engage in prospecting through territory plans, install base insights, lead follow-up, customer workflow triggers, and opportunities for competitive displacement.

• Lead deal reviews, pre-mortems, and post-win evaluations.

• Coordinate internal resources across commercial and operational functions for intricate customer opportunities.

• Convert voice-of-customer feedback into insights for product roadmap, applications support, enablement, and commercial execution.

• Collaborate with FAS and applications experts to identify necessary demo and applications support requirements.

• Act as a subject matter expert on KrosFlo TFF positioning, qualification, competitive differentiation, and opportunity development.

• Contribute to onboarding, playbooks, sales tools, training, and sharing of best practices.

• Exemplify CRM discipline, thorough preparation, customer follow-up, and cross-functional accountability.

• Provide sales reports, forecasts, market observations, competitive insights, and customer feedback to commercial leadership.

• Keep track of market, regulatory, technology, and competitor trends in TFF, UF/DF, automation, single-use systems, and process analytics.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Bioprocessing, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.

• Typically, 7+ years of relevant commercial, technical sales, applications, or bioprocessing experience; or 5+ years with a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 2+ years; or equivalent experience.

• Proven success in selling complex bioprocessing technologies, capital equipment, consumables, automation, filtration, or related workflow solutions.

• Strong understanding of downstream processing, TFF, UF/DF, process development, scale-up, and single-use bioprocessing workflows.

• Ability to convert technical requirements into a commercial value proposition and create business cases for multi-stakeholder buying groups.

• Demonstrated capability to build and manage pipelines, forecast accurately, and execute disciplined territory, account, and opportunity plans.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills for scientific, technical, operational, procurement, and leadership audiences.

• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory to meet customers, support demos, participate in account strategy sessions, and attend industry events.
