This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accurately review and process bind requests in a timely manner.

• Validate application information against entries in the carrier system and update as necessary.

• Bind coverage within carrier platforms following underwriting instructions and carrier protocols.

• Complete all necessary filings and binding documentation.

• Ensure that binding documentation adheres to quality and compliance standards.

• Collaborate with underwriters, retail agents, and representatives from carriers.

• Address inquiries concerning binding status, requirements, and any discrepancies.

• Resolve issues, avert delays, and appropriately escalate complex discrepancies.

• Manage the workload of assigned bind requests to meet service level agreements and turnaround times.

• Ensure adherence to company policies, carrier guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

• Identify data-related issues and implement corrective measures.

• Support improvements in processes and standard operating procedures.

• Assist in onboarding and training new team members.

• Work with leadership to enhance operational efficiency and standardization.

• Share knowledge and best practices within the team.


⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in insurance operations, underwriting support, or a similar role.

• Familiarity with transportation insurance or the capability to quickly learn transportation-specific workflows.

• Strong attention to detail, particularly regarding data accuracy and quality control.

• Proven problem-solving abilities and capacity to handle escalated or complex tasks.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Teams, and OneNote is advantageous.

• Experience in a centralized processing or shared services environment is beneficial but not mandatory.
