This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Address incoming inquiries related to Revenue Cycle Management and Patient Billing, including questions about eligibility, benefits, billing, and collections.
• Deliver prompt and courteous assistance to patients, vendors, health plans, and clinic personnel.
• Manage Revenue Cycle communications through inbound and outbound calls, emails, voicemails, faxes, and the patient portal.
• Liaise with offices and patients to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
• Process payment requests submitted by patients.
• Update patients' insurance plans and other relevant information within the portal.
• Assist leadership with daily, weekly, and monthly reporting tasks.
• Respond to patient inquiries and concerns regarding their accounts and associated centers.
• Collaborate with patients and providers to address account issues and communicate the next steps for resolution.
• Identify potential challenges within the revenue cycle and escalate them for departmental or leadership review.
• Review billing transactions for accuracy and assist in resolving payment posting issues.
• Work remotely from any location in the U.S. aligned with the applicable time-zone shift.
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a call center setting.
• Experience in healthcare revenue cycle management is strongly preferred.
• Previous experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, as well as call center and phone systems.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, the Internet, and Email.
• Solid understanding of major health insurance carriers, both in-network and out-of-network.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Proven professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive patient information.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient typing skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor, demonstrating empathy and compassion in patient interactions.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
