Biller – Claims & Denials

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver TruBridge claims processing services to Critical Access Hospital (UB-04) and Rural Health Clinic (CMS-1500) clients.

• Oversee daily business office operations, which encompass patient billing, credit and collections, data entry, third-party payer relations, and the preparation of insurance claims.

• Suggest new processes and modifications to existing procedures.

• Establish controls for proper submission, billing, credit, and collections practices.

• Follow up on third-party approvals, billing activities, and collections of overdue accounts.

• Ensure that billing is executed accurately and promptly by staff in accordance with established procedures and third-party requirements.

• Achieve production and quality assurance benchmarks.

• Maintain high-quality customer service in line with company and client-specific policies and procedures.

• Safeguard confidential customer information.

• Handle miscellaneous paperwork and execute administrative tasks.

• Support team projects.

• Assist the manager in employee management, which includes coaching, training, disciplinary measures, and follow-up on action plans.

• Ensure adherence to company policies regarding dress code, attendance, and other regulations.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3-5 years of Full-Cycle billing experience, which can include Acute Hospital and/or Physician (Profee) claims.

• Experience with Claims and Denial Queues.

• Required familiarity with Commercial and Medicaid claims.

• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management abilities.

• Must possess a keen attention to detail and follow through on issues until resolution.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

• High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience is necessary.

• Excellent critical thinking, organizational, and time management skills, with a strong focus on detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
