Bilingual, Spanish Speaking Medical Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform outbound telephonic outreach to patients and offer personalized coaching and support for those managing chronic conditions.

• Assist patients in implementing tailored care plans and reaching their objectives through education and coaching aimed at behavior modification, nutrition, physical activity, and self-management.

• Apply evidence-based methods, including motivational interviewing and SMART goals.

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ health status, lifestyle choices, nutritional habits, and readiness to make changes.

• Provide education on disease management, medication adherence, symptom recognition, and preventative strategies.

• Carry out care delivery tasks in line with Cadence clinical policies and established protocols under suitable clinical supervision.

• Track patient progress, adherence to treatment plans, and health outcomes via regular check-ins and remote monitoring tools.

• Record patient interactions, outcomes, and follow-up plans within the Cadence platform.

• Identify obstacles to care, including social needs, and connect patients with resources or internal support pathways.

• Collaborate in real-time with clinicians and patient support teams using the Cadence Platform, Google Workspace, and Slack.

• Provide feedback to enhance workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Medical Assistant certification from an accredited association (AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NHA, NAHP, NCCT, NRCMA/NRCAMA, or AAH) is mandatory.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant is required.

• Must be prepared for remote work, including having a stable high-speed WiFi connection.

• Fluency in Spanish is essential.

• Proficiency with AI-assisted clinical tools such as Gemini, Open Evidence, or similar platforms is required.

• Capability to engage credibly with providers and patients regarding the role of AI in care delivery and the importance of human judgment.

• Experience in internal medicine, cardiology, nephrology, or working with the geriatric population is preferred.

• Background in providing patient education and support for individuals managing chronic conditions is preferred.
