Bilingual Outside Loan Originator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Identify and acquire mortgage leads.

• Foster relationships with real estate agents and other sources for leads.

• Evaluate loan markets and establish referral networks.

• Promote CCM products and services.

• Meet with applicants to collect loan application details and address inquiries regarding the process.

• Assess applicants’ financial status, creditworthiness, and property evaluations.

• Clarify loan types, credit alternatives, and service conditions.

• Compile complete loan applications and necessary documentation.

• Notify applicants about additional requirements and enhance their applications and documentation.

• Respond to customer inquiries and requests.

• Address and resolve customer complaints effectively.

• Manage communication with real estate agents and referral sources.

• Collaborate with processing and underwriting teams to troubleshoot mortgage application issues.

• Stay updated on job knowledge through education, publications, networking, and professional organizations.

• Engage in mortgage sales activities, including closings, open houses, CCM seminars/trainings, and lead generation initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in both Chinese and English.

• NMLS License is mandatory as per the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008.

• Familiarity with retail product philosophy, policies, underwriting procedures, documentation, and systems.

• Proven experience in soliciting new business proactively.

• Experience with Encompass is preferred.

• Understanding of mortgage products and programs.

• Strong analytical skills to assess credit requests and identify market trends.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
